This has been a full couple of weeks for the Moll family and for our Cross Lanes UMC family too!
In the past two weeks I’ve had two of our family in the hospital for multiple ER visits that led to overnight stays and one surgery. Bree received her White Coat at the Osteopathic School in Lewisburg and Eli has had several golf matches in there as well.
At the church, Gods Kidz and Youth Group are back in full swing. Youth Group held their first Jesus Walks event this past Sunday where they had to build cardboard boats that would hold two people and race them in a pool. Children’s Church was relaunched this past Sunday as well and had a successful first day with several children attending.
The Cross Lanes Mission Initiative completed its first full building project by installing a 20 foot handicap ramp in Dunbar. Several people made up two different teams for the install project over the last two Wednesday’s. This is the ramp that we built together during worship in July!
While finances are still lagging behind, the ministry of the church is booming and people are visiting worship and seeking to get involved and grow their faith. We had 3 new members join CLUMC last month, a few more have expressed interest in joining, and we have a few baptisms on the horizon as well. Things are happening at Cross Lanes UMC! I’m blessed to be your pastor, and I can’t wait to see what all God has in store for us this fall!

Tonight God's Kidz will be going over Joseph and his coat of many colors following up what the kidz learned about in Children's Church Sunday. Kathryn is going to tie Dolly and her song coat of many colors into that and relate the two by how they lived their life faithfully and for Christ our Savior. They will also be making a coat of many colors and play some of Kathryn's favorite songs from the musical "Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat."
