Good Morning:

Kerry Bart and I are leading a project Monday at 511 5^th Avenue New Haven. This is the parsonage of New Haven Charge. The work is in the basement. We will shop vac some water (no mud); We will remove cabinets from the wall and some paneling. Bring with you: hammer and pry bar, muck boots or closed toe shoes, cordless drills with screwdriver attachments. We will bring wheelbarrow, shop vac, squeegee, push broom and shovels. Pack a lunch and bring your beverages. We will work from 9 AM to 3 PM.

There have been many floods this year. Some of us are getting pretty tired. If you have not stepped up to help yet, then this is a good opportunity, especially if you are in the Parkersburg, Charleston, Huntington, Ripley areas. This is what we were trained for as ERT's and this is our opportunity to once again offer assistance and hope to someone in need.

You are welcome to bring other adults with you. Please email or text me back to let me know you are coming. I do not need to hear from you if you are not able.

The Church Mouse will be accepting donation today from 9-11am in the back of the church. You may drive up and stay in your car while a volunteer from the Mouse unloads your vehicle for you. As always, Thank you for supporting this ministry.

Wednesday Night Dinner: Phillip's WVU Tail Gate party

This month's Wednesday night dinner sponsered by the United Methodist Men will be a WVU tailgate party in honor of our late custodian, Phillip, who went home to be with his Lord !

The men are asking that you wear your collegiate gear! The United Methodist Men will provide the hotdogs and hambugers. Please bring your favorite tailgate food to share.

Their will be a BIG WVU cake for dessert. Following the meal there will be a Celebration of Life for Phillip.
